GFCI Issues

GFCI Outlets (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) Are required in several areas throughout most homes, particularly in bathrooms, kitchens, and around any exterior or wet areas.

Common Issues include failure to trip and/or reset, improperly wired, and being connected to other fixtures, such as bathroom or kitchen lighting.

Most GFCI Issues can be solved by either rewiring or replacing the outlet receptacle.

Reverse Polarity outlets

Reverse Polarity outlets are outlets where the Neutral and Hot wiring has been improperly installed (reversed). In many cases, simply rewiring the outlet can solve this issue.

Further investigate and consult with your electrician to resolve this common installation error.
